Prime Minister Narendra Modi will “lead the country till 2029” and there is “no confusion in the party regarding this matter”
Said By Home minister Amit Shah
Mr. Kejriwal in his first press conference a day after being released from jail attacked PM Modi. On Saturday, Home Minister Amit Shah responded to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s (suspended) insinuation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is laying the groundwork for Shah’s future ascension to the Prime Minister’s office.
“Questions are raised about the leadership face of the INDIA bloc. In contrast, I question the BJP’s choice for Prime Minister as Modi ji approaches the age of 75 next September 17, a milestone that has previously marked retirement for party veterans like LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and Sumitra Mahajan.”

The AAP leader said that he will stop working next year. He is asking for votes to help Amit Shah become the Prime Minister. He also questioned if Amit Shah will keep Modi ji’s promises. This was said by the AAP leader who can campaign until June 1 because he got temporary permission from the court. This is happening while the Lok Sabha elections are going on, with three out of seven parts already done.
Amit Shah gave a strong response to the comments made
“I want to say this to Arvind Kejriwal and company and INDIA bloc that nothing as such (75-year-old limit rule) is mentioned in the BJP’s constitution. PM Modi is only going to complete this tenure and PM Modi will continue to lead the country in future. There is no confusion in the BJP,” ~ Said By Home minister Amit Shah
The Home Minister doubted Kejriwal’s too much confidence and said that even though he got temporary bail, it doesn’t mean he is free from the case about the alcohol scam. This is the same case that put the former Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, in jail.
Arvind Kejriwal got temporary permission to campaign for elections. He told the Supreme Court that arresting him was not right, but they didn’t accept that. He can only campaign until June 1, and then on June 2, he must go to the authorities.
“If Arvind Kejriwal considers this as a clean chit, then his understanding of the law is weak,” he added.
Mr. Kejriwal got temporary bail with some rules. He can’t go to his work, sign papers, or go to the government offices in Delhi. If he has to sign any important papers quickly, he needs to ask the Lieutenant Governor first.
Defence minister Rajnath Singh also hit out at Kejriwal
India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, has expressed strong criticism towards Kejriwal due to his recent comments. Singh stated that the opposition parties and their members are feeling unsettled and anxious. This unease, according to Singh, is a result of their anticipated loss in the current Lok Sabha elections. The opposition’s fear of defeat is causing them to react in a way that is noticeable to others. Singh’s comments suggest that he believes the opposition is not confident about their performance in the elections. This lack of confidence, he implies, is leading to their current state of agitation.
During his address in Hyderabad, Shah made a prediction that the BJP will become the most significant party in the southern part of India. He stated that when the election results are announced, the BJP will be the party with the most seats in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. This is his expectation for the outcome of the elections.
The whole NDA alliance, which includes the BJP, is contesting this Lok Sabha election under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is expected that he will secure the position of prime minister for the third time and fulfill his term. This expectation is not only within the BJP and the NDA, but also among the citizens of the country. There is a strong belief that there is no uncertainty about this outcome.
